Aloud to hand out my CV?

    Im 17 and I've been working in a shop for the last year while still in school but recently i haven't been getting any hours i was wondering am i aloud to hand around my CV in other places, and if so should i put on my CV that i am employed by somebody at the moment.

    Do what you like as you are under no obligation to anyone. No harm in saying you're working.

    Yeah of course you can, but make sure it's a good a CV as you can put together. At 17 you might not have a lot to put in it, but make sure you get it proof read for spelling.

    If you are worried about prospective employers asking why you are looking to leave your current job, just tell them you aren't getting the hours you are looking for.

    I also think you will be more employable being in work rather than on the dole.

    Of course you are allowed, and definitely put all your work experience on it. Good luck with the hunt.

    The answer is yes to both questions.
    Before you do however get someone to check your spelling on the CV. Allowed not aloud.
    The one thing an employer doesn't like is spelling mistakes on a CV which will end up on the bin.

    You should definitely go for it.. It's always easier to get a job when you're already employed.

    Best of luck, but as has been said, get someone with good spelling and grammar to give your CV the once over. When referring to yourself for instance, I is always a capital letter and of course allowed has been mentioned as opposed to aloud.
