I've been keeping an eye on the data that is available on the NTPF which shows the no. of people on waiting lists in Ireland per month for each hospital but I'm not sure what Tonsil removal would be under as there is no ENT category?

How long was anyone here waiting to

    a) get an appointment to see a surgeon

    B) After seeing an ENT, then how long after that?

It depends what part of the country, often 2 years to see ent.
The number of people waiting to see ent are published in the ntpf website Under "by speciality".
Are the ntpf still buying procedures? Thought those days were over.

In buying procedures, do you mean that scheme or something where they subsidized the cost of an operation for someone so they could go private or something? If we're thinking of the same thing then yeah that stopped a good few years back afaik.

I just check under specialty and there isn;t a specif one for ENT so I'm assuming general surgery
