I think I've truly hit rock bottom...watching girls gymnastics in the national basketball arena...apparently this goes on to 7.30. I'm here an hour and I want to die.

Went for my first cycle on new bike today, after 10 miles I clipped a kerb, went over the handlebars, did my groin, have a lump on my arm that made 2 grown women literally scream and a cracked rib ....I'd much rather be sat watching 17yo girls in leotards :)

The eldest I've seen is about 11. Apparently 4 year olds in tracksuits doing tumbles passes for gymnastics nowadays. This is truly awful. Wife said I'm not to tell my girls that it was brutal. I don't like telling lies...

So, after months of humming and hawing, and trying this one and that one... I am now the proud owner of a Merida Ride 400 ...all I need now is an industrial sized tub of Vaseline and I'm laughing!

You planning on cycling it without a saddle or something?

Ouch! Better luck next time. I'm guessing you were cycling close in to the kerb? It's a good idea to cycle out in the road a little bit, motorists tend to give you more respect and not try to squeeze past, gives you room to go if one does, plus no chance of hitting the kerb.

Close, I came off the road to use the cycle lane, the exit was covered in leaves, and the kerb lip was hidden , hit that and went arse over tit...

Oh, and I smashed my bloody phone too :(

    I benched Cam Newton. He's got 26 points and it's not even half-time. :(

    It's ok.

    You're all playing for second.

It didn't matter. That baaaaaad maaaan had a monster second half. It was a brilliant game to watch, Rodgers' pass to James Jones on 4th & 14 to keep them in the game was insane.

Newton and the Panthers look like serious contenders.

Instead of going to that Metropolis festival, I'm going to the happy pear. I've changed.

You missed out. Metropolis was a great festival

If you haven't seen it yet, Kung Fury is the best thing I've seen this year. 30 minutes of complete madness. Captures the 80s martial arts/cop movies perfectly. Highly recommend watching it when you've a half hour

Nothing horrific about it, I happen to have an incredibly great looking crotch area.

Not sure if any of you are watching the second season of Fargo, but it is truly brilliant and episode 5 proves that Bruce Campbell is in-fact, God.

I was just looking at games this morning. I want to buy the new Call of Duty, the new Tomb Raider, the new Battlefront game and the new Rainbow Six.

    Never played Witcher before.

If there was a "Greg Hardy" rugby player, would any team sign him? I'd like to think not.

Don't bother with the call of duty games and battlefront really is a very basic shooter set in star wars universe. The free beta weekend didn't impress me in the slightest.

Tomb Raider is a definite buy but not till it's heavily on sale on steam as it's single player so why pay full price. Not sure about Rainbow Six, haven't played any of them since Vegas.

I intend on getting battlefront, will need a new graphics card first. Need advice but don't want to spend too much and I know if I go down to PC building and upgrading forum I'll end up single, with lots more Ram, a much better processor and a much larger monitor than any human should ever need.
