Is every scene in these shows just really good looking people being in the throes of relationship problems, arguing with each other on the beach as if they actually have problems? What a depressing show to watch.

It's 4 or 5 stories recycled until there is a bush fire and Alf has to don the hard hat and hi-vis and go rescue someone.

Alf was a lot better in the old days, before the little shíts took over completely. He used to drive around in his massive Ute, elbow out the window Aussie-style, beer in the other hand steering with his knees and handing out kicks-up-the-hole to gallahs that needed them. Extremely important public service. Ripper bonzer! :D

When the actor who plays Alf dies I think there will be a national day of mourning in Ireland.

People grew up with Alf and his no nonsense attitude.

All apologising to each on the beach. Nobody has any parents. The school has 1 classroom. The hospital has 1 room. The lads in school are in their mid twenties. No one smokes. If you drink more than 2 bottles of beer there's nearly an intervention.

I found the solution was easy. Just don't watch.

An Eastenders Xmas special is basically misery dialled up to 11 which results in the death of someone while the soft notes of Silent Night plays showing also a montage of more misery from other characters :pac:

As for Home & Away, who could forget that tune:

    Hold me in your arms,

    Don't let me go,

    I want to stay forever,

    Closer each daaaaaaaay....

    Home and awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

Yes. That's what it's calle a tv show.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Sometimes I can hardly tell the difference between the two shows since they're so similar. If you were to create a mash up of the two, using clips from both shows in random order, I probably wouldn't suspect anything out of the ordinary.

I watched Eastenders for years in school. Too much gritty realism (or so they think), since they leave out the simple fact that real Eastenders like to have a laugh and a good time to counterbalance their everyday misery.

Albert Square must be the murder/divorce/cheating capital of the western world.

No casual use of the word ****, no aggressive abos, no drunken bogans fighting each other...piss poor depiction of Aussie life.

    This is much better
