I just dropped the plug of my toaster in the sink. I've opened it to let it dry but will it be safe to plug back in or should I just put a new plug on?

It should be fine, make sure it is thoroughly dry first. Check connections while you are there.

+1 All of the pins can be gently pulled out of the plastic moulding and take the fuse out as well to make sure all of the surfaces are dry. Shouldn't be a problem using it again.
