    Hi guys,

Went to start the car there, and it wouldnt start. The engine was cranking fine but just not turning over. EPC light and Engine light came on, with the oil light occasionally coming on as well. So I lifted the hood, looking down from above on the gearbox and I see this.

I presume that is where the transmission fluid should be put in the gearbox and it should be closed yeah? Is it common for these things to sprout open on their own?

That's just an inspection hole for the TDC mark on the flywheel. It doesn't really matter whether the cover is on it or not tbh.

Okay, thanks. You know I've looked at that thing every time I lifted the bonnet and I couldnt remember what position it had been in. It just looks wrong!
