Next week? So for one week I will be a 4am start?
Well they're four hours behind for a week anyway, and their clocks go forward two weeks before ours too so you'll have three weeks with earlier starts and earlier finishes.

Finally the clocks go back tonight at either 1 or 2am and that means it's finally winter :D is everyone as excited as me? Or am I on my own on the one :)

Yes im looking forward to it since we finally got our chimney sorted so we can have a nice warm fire to sit around over the winter but im not looking forward to the "extra hours sleep" because i wont get it, since my children dont care if the clocks go back :)

I used to work nights, and the clocks changing was a real pain as it meant that you had a 13 hour shift in the Autumn and an 11 hour one in the spring.

It's stupid. At its height you have to get up in darkness anyway but then you get darkness when you get home. If they didn't change it you would still get morning darkness, but a lot of people would also enjoy a bit of light in the evening and it would make a big difference.

Do you not get daylight for lunch time though.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Ah don't be like that, look how beautiful winter can be, and the dark evenings... Welcome winter, not reject it.

True dat but getting up to go for a run when it's dark and frosty is no fun. Generally darkness/coldness is no fun. Cursed winter!

    Send them to bed later.

    Doesn't work ;-(
They still wake at the same time and if they haven't had enough sleep they are monsters.

Ease them in, 10 minutes a night, they'll not notice it!

I hate it as I think it's completely pointless and stupid exercise. Leave the clicks as they are, DST was introduced nearly a century ago in a different era. It serves no purpose anymore and should be scrapped.

Of course it serves a purpose. Long summer nights.

There might be a case for summer time all year round though.

Me, I'd prefer winter time were just two months.

Have they actually gone back yet? I'm looking at a clock saying 2.22am (am in Central Europe) but is that for the first or secodn time?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

i think the cutoff is 2am Irish time- all digital devices quoting 1.25 currently

Your watch has obviously got infected with a virus if that is the case I'm afraid to say.

The time should have went back automatically at 2AM but it's not 2AM so what happened. It's still 1:28AM.

Lucky you. I'll have to ask Albert because this whole deconstruction of time is a waste of time if you have time.
