Well they're four hours behind for a week anyway, and their clocks go forward two weeks before ours too so you'll have three weeks with earlier starts and earlier finishes.

Yes im looking forward to it since we finally got our chimney sorted so we can have a nice warm fire to sit around over the winter but im not looking forward to the "extra hours sleep" because i wont get it, since my children dont care if the clocks go back

I used to work nights, and the clocks changing was a real pain as it meant that you had a 13 hour shift in the Autumn and an 11 hour one in the spring.

True dat but getting up to go for a run when it's dark and frosty is no fun. Generally darkness/coldness is no fun. Cursed winter!

Utter ****. "It means the children can walk to school and home again in the daylight.." Who cares? It means the rest of us have to suffer dark evenings..feck the kids..they don't pay taxes, or bills..

i think the cutoff is 2am Irish time- all digital devices quoting 1.25 currently

The time should have went back automatically at 2AM but it's not 2AM so what happened. It's still 1:28AM.
