This looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

Weren't the Maltese national football team (Catholic country) subjected to Fenian bastard chants at a wc qualifer in Windsor Park a few years back. :D

Probably not photoshop, there has been well established support between Irish and Palestinian communities for many years particularly during the troubles. Both states have murals depicting the others struggles which can be easily found in google images but i'm just to lazy to upload.

    Yeah, I was just joking.
But no sources whatsoever have been shown that Palestinians even know or care about the IRA.
I have seen the PA flags in Belfast so I know there is some support there.

Did you know that there exist a street in Tehran called Bobby Sands Street? It was originally named Winston Churchill Street.

There's also a fast food joint named after him, they like their martyrs in iran, plus various monuments around the world dedicated to him.

    Sickening.

Hopefully a formal complaint will be lodged to discourage this behaviour by these Palestinians.

Palestinians shooting their kids? If that's what keeps them happy then let them at it, I suppose?

That of course depende as to which side of the fence you are on, and I ain't on the IRA side, nor the Hamas side for that matter.

..not that I live in NI or the Middle east.

As a homosexual you defiantly should be on the republican side. The loyalists and unionist politicians are disgustingly backward in their views on the gay community.

Sutchs preferences in such matters - whatever they might be - are their own private business.

Gas isn't it,game of flegs.as a side note I met a lot of Israelis around south east asia who just finished their army service and a lot of them would ask me if i was a Republican, don't think they're particularly fond of the Irish.

Not fond of the Irish? I'd certainly take that as a compliment. In fact, I'd be very, very worried if they liked us.

Not sure what you mean, I though what he said was quite clear.

I think that's a bit unfair to be honest. My father is friends with an Israeli living in Ireland for many years who of course had to serve his mandatory time in the forces. Having talked with my dad about it, it's clear many Israelis are quite ashamed of their history and what has been allowed to happen but are not exactly vocal in those opinions.

    :D:):confused::D

    Oh er missus, Say What?

That is funny, me a homosexual, whatever would my lady wife say :D

And just for your information, I have no time for Loyalists (or their politicians) up North.
You may leave Unionists & Unionism (moderate) out of it, as I have a lot of sympathy for them.

You seem to have completely misread my earlier post and that's probably my fault. I was directing my comments at those who wear their shameful service in the brutal IDF as a badge of honour. I myself had a very good Israeli friend when I lived in London. He was an IDF army medic and refused to serve after the Jenin massacre. Most of his mates whom I met, were of a similar mindset and were also not proud of their service. So apologies for not making that clearer in my last post. But I certainly wasn't directing my commentary at the decent Israelis who had no option but to serve or felt forced to do so.

They seem to like the UVF and UDA. Otherwise they wouldn't have sold on discounted arms to them etc. Oh, and the old regime in South Africa as well.

The IRA and the PLO have been buddies for years. The PLO gave arms to the IRA during the seventies.

I did the black taxi tour in Belfast today and seen this. Israeli murals and flags with the union jack and Israeli flag imposed together. Its downright bizarre.

    Great tour to do :)

It was amazing meandering through the Falls Road and Shankill Road and hearing the stories from someone who grew up in the troubles. I couldn't believe the height of the peace wall. I'd highly recommend it for sure.

Not really bizarre when you think about it though. Hard line loyalists, zionists and the likes of the far right Afrikaner AWB. Have long shared an ideology that is based on oppression, hate and domination. So the camaraderie such nut jobs feel towards each other is almost inevitable.

How can Irish Republicanism be based upon hatred when the Proclamation of 1916, the political bible of the IRA, enshrined the promise 'the Republic guarantees religious and civil liberty, equal rights and opportunities to all its citizens'

You have no credibility. You conveniently forget all the sectarianism, discrimination, imprisonment without trial, and murder that caused the troubles. You're also an apologist for British colonialism and the brutality that accompanied it.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Oh, that has been swept under the carpet, along with the child abuse cover ups and general criminality, on planet republican.

We have enough problems being a nation of alcoholics without being associated with suicide bombers.
