No there's newer, same date just 20 hours later. Mightn't be pushed to preview but also might just not be mandatory.

I don't have access to that forum BTW.

What's your build number then? What was changed with the one you have?

Ok gone off for the evening now.

Runaway, yes I've an external connected, was connected during the install.

I'll try with the originally supplied headset in the morning.

I'll switch locale to US as well.

Thanks for the help guys. Hopefully I get this sorted tomorrow because I can't go without party chat.

1 of the known issues for current build is: "Party and game chat: You may be unable to hear others when joining a party chat." so guess you're the "other". Hopefully new build will come along soon and sort it for you.

Dam it. Very annoying if that's the case.

Strange that everything works fine in game chat but I just can't hear them in Party chat but they can still hear me cursing away because its not working

No joy again this morning so Im going to have to factory restore.

Does anyone know if I unplug my External will that save me having to download all my games again ?

Factory reset wont touch the external. Did the original headset not work?

No original headset showed the same as last night. The other guy in the party can hear me fine but I can't hear them

Also switched to the US region and no joy.

I've resynced my headset, looked for updates for it and the controller and still no joy.

That's very weird, did your nat get pushed back to strict or something?

Nope wired with homeplugs open Nat. Dont have another controller to try that.

Just going to have to wait for the final release.

Really weird that the standard headset didn't work. I have a few consoles under me and have no issues with them, sorry.

No just got a party invite and joined and I could hear everyone.

Yea its the Stealts that are working.

Some people on reddit are getting factory reset after an update. Not common but still worth keeping an eye on and making sure your games are saved externally.

See I'm not sure what's going on.

One of my friends invited me to a party and that worked fine.

Other than that one time when its worked between joining and being invited I've been in 30/40 parties and I can never hear them, but they can hear me.

Also game chat is working.

So that means the headset is working fine and it must be an error in the party itself.

I also get that description above the party that I posted a picture of above. So obviously somewhere in the party chat system something is going a miss.

Sounds like he opted out to me. Nxoe updates are either 4/500 MB for just incremental or 3/4 GB for full builds. I've ran through full double update oobe resets (back to old and then back to new) a few times and none of them have been 2gb.

I had to a factory reset after the dashboard update. The first NXE version. Luckily I had everything was on an external hard drive so it was painless.

Nothing would work until I factory reset it.

Lot of issues with externals, often you have to disconnect them and then reconnect to get wireless and games to work. Thought they were all fixed though.

Its been working fine since I factory reset it and there's been an OS update just recently so no issues at present.

Loving the new store layout in the windows 10 app. It's actually 100 times easier to use than the Xbox one.
