And to answer your question, yes I would. And wouldnt hesitate. I think people are born as evil as he was, he didnt develop murderous tendencies. But then again I can't say for sure how Id feel when I have a gun to an innocent looking babies head.

Not a hope. Great scientific and medical advances came from world war 2, and it also culled the population. The world can only hold so much realistically, and no disease pandemic was culling the population sufficiently at the time.

I'd be too busy writing surefire hits (start with Gershwin and work up to the Beatles by 1900) to be bothered killing Austrian brats. He pops up looking very happy altogether in a crowded square at the declaration of World War 1. I'd catch up with the 25 year old Adolf then.

I'd be very hesitant to do anything that would mess around with the history of the 20th century, especially considering the weaponry that was developed in the period.

Way too easy to do something for the good of the human race and end up wiping it out entirely. It's impossible to predict the consequences of killing one of the biggest influences on the period, no matter how destructive that influence was.

Clearly in this case it is since it doesn't solve the problem of his future genocide.

I wouldn't given the potential effects on me. I remember one scientist saying that if WWI and WWII hadn't happened the world, especially the participant countries, would be largely populated with totally different people. Killing hitler is a grandfather paradox.
