Irelands favourite broadband.

    On your adverts, you state that eircom is irelands favourite broadband. 

    How was this calculated?

    The ad also says that all Mobile Plans are 4G when they are not

    I've been wondering about 4G alright, still waiting for mine to be changed

So by counting the amount of people using their lines, through themselves or Sky etc vs the people on Virgin Media or Imagine WiMAX (HAHA) they are Ireland's favourite broadband. It's hardly a fair comparison, imagine are rubbish, and Virgin have only service in a few places, and even those who can get it didn't like UPC at the time because they were an awful company. Customer service was a disgrace and lots of people I know who had it were billed for ridiculous things.

    So to sum up

    Eir own all the lines so even though the majority don't get service through Eir the service is provided by them regardless of who you are with, excluding obviously Virgin and WiMAX (HAHA)

    It's quite insulting that the eir reps are just ignoring this thread. 
    It's not as if it's a loaded question, or an unreasonable request.
    I'll leave it at that and just assume that the ad is waffle.

    They probably would just tell you to ring Eir on 1901 or that they'll pass it on. They aren't going to to answer you anyway.
