Tattoo ideas

Hi all,
Just looking for a bit of advice from someone with a bit more experience on the topic than I.
Recently a person very close to me past away. I have decided to get a tattoo of a black fallen rose on my chest in remembrance of them. I don't want it to be too big or 'in your face'. I have never gotten a tat before so this will be my first. I've searched on the internet for ideas but couldn't find anything that matches what's in my head. So, I would be so appreciative towards you if you could help me find the right design for what I want.

Let the artist you choose do the design for you. Tell them what you want, and I'm sure they'll be able to put together something great!

Just make sure to choose a good artist, one that turns out good work in the style that you want.

Just one question, how do I know if they are a good artist or not?

Checking out their Facebook page is a good start, should be plenty of pictures up.

I'm heading up to Skin City in Dublin for four hours on Sunday, checked the page and the artist that is doing the tattoo and was happy enough with what I saw.

first and the third are very interesting.
Don't think I'd use colour though. Just black with maybe a bit of emphasis on shading.

No worries. Yeah they're both pretty dark pictures signifying death imo. The first is obviously on top of a casket and I just love the 3rd one. 2nd one was just for an extra option.

Fwiw, I'd get the 3rd one done if I had to choose. Don't know any artists in Limerick but I'll ask my guy and see what he says

I asked my guy here in Killarney who he thinks is the best in Limerick and this was his response "It's a guy called Ross Daly,that's d man,the rest in limerick not too good".

Fwiw, I've known this guy for years and long before I got my first tattoo so I trust his opinion.

Allstar Ink would be the best place to start IMO

You can search for good tattoo ideas on Instagram too.

Paul Aherne is in Dublin (unless he travels down, perhaps)

Paul O'Rourke is in Limerick and Cork (just in case you got your Pauls mixed up :P)
