    Licence to Kill

    A View to a Kill

(for a bad decade of Bond films, they nailed the music in the 80s)

    Live and Let Die

Oh no, it sounds like that Billy Connolly version of the song sung by a drunk uncle that always has "kirabye" in it!

'Set your hopes up way too high, the living's in the waaaaaaay weeeee diiiiiiiiie!!'

Can't say I have a standout favourite but just want to commend you on all the work you put into that poll. It's a thing of beauty.

Tomorrow never dies, always taught it was a very good song

Don't know all of them but among those that I do know my favourite is either "Diamonds Are Forever" or "The World Is Not Enough". I lean towards the latter, but that may be just be 'cause I like Garbage in general.

Also like "Live and Let Die", "Goldeneye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies". "Skyfall" is ok but a bit overrated, while "Another Way to Die" isn't as bad as people make it out to be (though I think maybe Jack White should have sang it solo as Alicia Keys didn't really add anything to it.)

Not a fan of the latest one. Parts of it are ok but the falsetto notes in the chorus are far too grating.

Should probably mention that I have never actually seen a Bond film in my life. :p

You know my name by Chris Cornell.

Everything you want from a bond theme.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service theme is actually the John Barry instrumental. Superb intro.

Aha with The Living Daylight is my favourite. My second favourite would be Duran Duran with A View To A Kill. I've never seen the movies that go with the songs though are they any good?

Anyone who didn't pick 'live and let die' needs to have a word with themselves. Anyone who picked a song from the last twenty years reeeealllly needs to have a word with themselves.

The ones with the best themes are amongst the worst films, don't can't say Im a fan of the films anyway.

Surprised You Only Live Twice doing so poorly.

I love that song, and love the Louis Armstrong song, but picked Goldfinger which to me is the quintessential bond song, really defines them.

Thought the adele one was brutal, someone thought I must hate any new music but I love her other stuff, thought it was cringeworthy by numbers bond stuff.

You are right, it was just brutal. On the other hand I can't say I like any of her stuff. But she didn't have to go spoil the Bond theme.

At the risk of repetition Licence to Kill was just a great Bond theme, all powerful singing and dramatic sweeping orchestral arrangements, very dramatic. While I like All the Time in the World, it's too downbeat and almost underproduced for a Bond theme for my tastes.
