Getting to a wedding in Ireland

I've to go to a wedding in Wicklow next weekend (Brooklodge). Aside from renting a car, what other ways can I get there? Hailo from the airport looks punchy.

Yes a taxi could be expensive.

You get a bus to Dublin city ( bus aras -> main bus station) and then a bus to Wicklow town with a taxi the rest of the way.

Or

Bus to Connolly station (main train station) and then train to Wicklow town and taxi the rest of the way.
