I worked in two jobs last year and now doing a tax return. Am I entitled to a full refund or does job 2 incorporate previous prsi paid? (eg my did my wages reflect being on low tax or did prsi bump them up?

I thought it would say on paye how much my total prsi paid was. I need the amount for tax return.

PS: Is USC due for refund aswell? (not working now)

Maybe a simpler way, was PRSI refunded in my second job or do I have to apply for it?

Prsi is a stand alone deduction per week per job and is non refundable .

Prsi is dealt with by the Dept of Social Protection , so its not going to appear on a Paye documents etc

How come when i put it in tax return it asks me was it refunded, i say no, and it comes up as a refund in calculation.

Don't know , possibly out-of-date software ...........there was a refund loophole in place up to about 2010 or 2011 .
