    Hi,

So I'm sitting in work and an external company I've dealt with briefly once have sent me an email. It appears to be accidental, I think it was forwarded to my address incorrectly. It contains information about a new capital project along with the exact costings...

It's not hugely sensitive information, and where I work don't benefit in any way from it...

    What should I do?

Delete the email, then inform the person who sent you the email that they done so in error and mention that you've deleted it.

Just let the sender know of their error. If replying by email just reply directly to sender rather than to all. No good in pointing out his/her error to their higher ups who may not be impressed.

Thanks for that, email deleted and sender informed.
