Vta to be paid for art restoration

hi there, I am having a professional art restoration done on a statue I have. I asked for a quote for the person responsible for the repair and he came back with a quote that had vat @ 13.5 percent added on to cost. First time paying for this type of service and just wondering if that's standard? Thanks.

13.5% is normal for professional services, which this would be.
