Words and phrases that you want immediately banned

Unless you are familiar with the latest slang on social media, you may not be familiar with the phrases I'm about to say, but any time I see them being used, I instantly believe that the person is an idiot, a blind follower (not literally blind,), a moron, a wannabe, a gobsh*te desperate to fit in with the "cool kids & celebs" by ironically following the herd - and those phrases are:
    • squad
    • squad goals
    • lad
    • #goals
    • ____ and chill
    • Yaaas

I wish I could just use different parts of the internet and avoid this bullsh*t but when you use Instagram & Facebook and read the latest entertainment news it's impossible to avoid.

And those phrases are not limited to mere civilians. Celebs and "news" websites are mad for them too. Dopes.

Got any hated words of your own?

"To say..(Im happy, sad, nervous, whatever)..would be an understatement."

I wish people would stop using this.

Words that I'd like banned with immediate effect (ie. things my younger sister says):
    • On fleek
    • On point
    • Bae (it means poo, love)
    • Totes emosh
    • abbreevs
    • Squad goals
    • like, as verbal punctuation, like.
    • Fam
    • Turnt
    • Basic, as in: "Oh my GOD, I'm so BASIC"
    • Whut-whut (usually accompanied by a strange hands up, palms out shuffle dance
    • Literally can't cope

Also, if she tells me one more time that I need to learn how to 'contour' I may lose my sh*t! :D

    'LGBT'.

Nor am I the only one who dislikes this term.

Katie Glover, who regularly writes about transgender issues for The Independent (UK), wrote a column last month titled 'Why it's time to take the T out of LGBT'.

Who even cares anymore. No matter what we say there'll always be someone somewhere who thinks it's wrong. It's exhausting - and ludicrous - to try to keep up with the chronically-offended overly-PC brigade. If they want to live their life feeling perpetually offended, lets just let them be miserable and bitter forever and the rest of us can just get on with things.

People who say "the PC brigade" or refer to anyone they disagree with as a brigade. Frequently also use the equally annoying word "sheeple". Spas.

Spas should be banned as well. I didn't think people even said that anymore. Just label me one of the PC brigade.

Islamophobia, and other other phobia based words that have nothing to do with an irrational fear.
I'd love to hear of a case where someone was diagnosed with a phobia of Islam.

I recently read an article talking about "Womanophobia".

Seriously, nobody or nothing has ever made that noise while eating, and if anything ever did I seriously hope it was killed with fire shortly afterwards.

I'll never stop bringing up that time someone referred to a car as "PC nonsense" (and no it wasn't even a hybrid or anything like that)! :pac:
