I have been asking that for a while now.

I didn't post comfimation pic (as have loads of attachments up here already), so thought it best to wait for OP to get back.

I have to say one thing that is really getting on my goat is the amount of posts that appear only to disappear.
First it was guesses, then it actually was an answer to a pic (actually informative answer as well) and then it was discussion on rules, gripes, etc.
Next thing you know we will have to screenshot the pic before it too disappears.

Anyway enough of my rant here goes my offering.

Ok that is the Rodalquilar Gold Mine in Cabo de Gata Natural Park in Almeria province in Spain.

    EDIT:
BTW there are some lovely atmospheric pics of that building.

Someone else can take my go to keep things going tonight if they want.

Otherwise I will put something up tomorrow late morning.

Agia Galini on south coast of Crete (Greece was right anyway).

(edit) > sure this is right, but don't want to post as I will be off forum now to 1800h or so, would say if guess confirmed somebody can go ahead, or I will post this evening.

    Yep it is
    Good work.

Lovely place especially just off season when it is quiet.

For anyone that is interested this is the place where Daidalos and Ikaros
fled after escaping from King Minos.
They then attached wings to their bodies and everything was going well until Ikaros flew too close to the sun and the wax holding the wings together melted and he fell to earth.

There are two statues on the rock from which they took off which overlooks the car park and harbour in the picture.

Okay then, I had all sorts of problems with loading a picture yesterday, maybe now this will work ...

Just name the body of water shown here, that will be good enough ...
