Apart from still single? All good here :)

    Nothing wrong with being single!

Listening to lads in work go on about WANs they live with...being honest I'd rather be single than go through the misery they go on about

Oh Jesus it seems to be a constant running of complaints!

Well there's one lad who've two children and married and hasn't spoken to his wife since Saturday they had a row over God knows what!...cutting the lawn

There's another lad who was late home one evening and the wan he's living with (has a kid aswell) had him locked out and left key in the door...after ten mins kicking and shouting at the door he threatened to get a hammer and bust his way in!! (Somehow kid slept through this??)

I said why bother lad....and he says she's just acting the cnut lately ..

I might be wrong...but I couldn't live in a situation like that...the stress would pure kill me...I'd have hair pulled out and well life's too short for that messing!

...the last lad has a house bought with that wan and is in process of planning to get engaged?

Like I used know/be friends with a good few lads who's be engaged/long term/have kids with different wans and would be rowwing/doing dirt on each other regularly enough....even the mess of that...I couldn't hack it

Well to be fair there's always two sides to every story. If she's been left with the child 24/7 with no real help from him, I can see why she'd be annoyed. It always makes me lol when fathers remark they're babysitting their own child. She might have been home all day with a child and could have had plans to go to Zumba or the gym or to meet a friend, and he's the one that didn't bother to go home in time. She could have made his dinner in between looking after their child all day, for him to come home so late that it was ruined. Maybe she's just fed up of him never being there. Or maybe she was just being spiteful. Thing is, he'd hardly tell you why she was upset. Just that she was a crazy bitch that locked him out.
Two sides to every story kiddo.

I see my best friend, she's still with the baby's dad but he never got up with the child at night, the child is 3 now and while she loves her daddy she won't stay with him. If my friend is going anywhere the child is brought, because he won't mind her. He goes out every weekend and she can only go out when her mother takes the baby. He goes to work, he goes for pints, he goes to football matches both here and in England. He does what he likes. She can't even go to the toilet with the door closed.

Sounds like your friend is a soft touch ,she lets him away with to much .Most men wouldnt get away with that crap.

Too right. Locking him out be the right job for him. I'm just saying if the woman's being a head case there's prob good reason

I've no doubt I'm not hearing the full story!!
This lad would be very old fashioned alright...but she do be working aswell

The point I was making...dem two are clearly not happy (going weeks on end not talking/epic screaming matches)...I don't see the point of trying to make it work for the sake of being afraid of being single

(Jesus hope I don't come across weird there!)

Not a bit weird Tom, what's the phrase " In a room full of people I never felt more alone" ;) I'd say that's why they're together and the fear of change :)

How's everyone this fine evening :)

Yeah you're right tom. Though I guess it's harder with a child.
I know personally, I fine and rant and rave about lmii. On days I'm especially angry I'll even tell him I hate him (though we never stop talking, I can't bear it when he's mad at me) but even though we kill each other, we still are tight.

I'm still looking on both fronts. However, I am meeting with a recruiter on Tuesday morning about an accounts role, so I'll see how it goes. I don't know what way I've been feeling about the job thing of late.

I've to see someone in the bank first, which I should have already done. Hopefully I can get an appointment on Friday when I'm off. All going well, there are cars I want to view that day, Saturday or the following Monday, as I'm off then as well. And, all going well, I'll be zipping around before the end of the month :)

Dont rush it either the job or car and dont buy the first car you see until it gets the Auto seal of approval ;)

Seriously, if you haven't been to a darts match, do it! :D I'm just back from Citywest and it was brilliant. Even if you're not interested in darts the atmosphere is amazing.

It's based on a book written by the author Nicholas Sparks who also wrote The Notebook. It's a sad love story and I should know better
