I'm about to put a wooden door in for the dairy, can't stand the look of PVC.

So I suppose that will have to have a fly screen...

I suppose a couple of punkah wallahs waving fans in front of the door on the day of inspection wouldn't cover it?

    @Kowtow.
Did you spend some time in the Indian sub continent?
On those roasting summer evenings I often dreamed of the luxury of a punkah wallah!
I saw on another thread where a Swiss friend of yours is a kind of Milk "sommelièr", were you having us on?
Maybe we should have some grand master sommelierès do the milk grading instead of solids system!

    Sorry off topic.

Minister Coveney was questioned in the Dail yesterday by Martin Ferris on the matter. A BOARD member of Glanbia that operates 110 miles from Clongowes Wood sneakes in 500k liters of milk facilitated by a manager from Clongowes and a manager from Glanbia....and there are no prosecutions! WTF!! If it looks like shyte, smells like shyte, and tastes like shyte, then it must be shyte! FFS!
Something's rotten in the state of Denmark Mahoney!

Good Lord a member of Glanbia's board....

Edit. Coveney said that all investigations are done. FFS.

There's rumblings of further investigation into matter this evening dwag .a lot would be happy if this was all shoved under carpet and not mentioned but there are farmers out there been heavily penalised under cross compliance for small things in comparison to this the guy involved has got away relatively Scot free so far .......whole thing from farmer to coop involved stinks of Shyte!!

The farmers journal probably don't want to upset the big boys up in glanbia, agriland in fairness to them are keeping the pressure on with a nice few articles, it's some going the lad involved is still on the glanbia board and hasn't been removed, he's a real micheal lowrey with a neck like a jockeys bollock

If that can of worms was opened there could be a lot of fellas in th sh1t...

Deputy Martin Ferris: I do not understand how a milk producer 110 miles away from Clongowes Wood supplied Clongowes Wood with 500,000 litres of milk which in turn supplied Glanbia and the outcome of all this was that no prosecution took place. What is quite clear to me is that there was slight of hand with 500,000 litres of milk being transferred 110 miles to Clongowes Wood which in turn sold that milk to Glanbia. The architects of this were a manager in Clongowes Wood and a manager in Glanbia. It is only when this came to light through John Mooney in The Sunday Times newspaper that an investigation was initiated. The investigation lasted 15 months, from June 2014 to September 2015. It is clear that there was an attempt to commit fraud which was successful until it was brought to light and an investigation took place. The Minister has not clarified whether the Chief State Solicitor said that a prosecution should have taken place. We do not know that. Deputy Simon Coveney's response : I was also concerned about this case.

Do you find it a bit less palatable at 35%dm? I've brought it back a couple of points and find it more palatable. But then I've a right bunch of divas. At 30 - 33% DM the face of the pit holds better as well.

So it's a TRUE cooperative...a very Orwellian cooperative.
Ffs if it's a Coop and it belongs to you guys, then ask the hard questions! Demand answers and immediate action. Take control of your future and your investment.

bumped up the thread it was discussed on at the time, justice and the irish political whip system aren't two phrases that you could ever put together in a sentence, if you have pull and are in with the boys calling the shots your almost untouchable, it's the poor f**kers at the bottom of the barrel that have to shovel all the **** and put up with the rules and regulations

He said they're now turning into the way Fianna Fail were and that they now need a good kick up the arse. Money Power Greed Croneyism it has it all.

Coveney has been a huge disappointment, he seems more engaged with being Minister of Defense lately than Minister of Agriculture.

There will be a few strong questions asked here when they come calling for votes.

Wrong! As a shareholder you are entitled to demand answers. While you're at it find out the margin (real) they make on your milk.

The trouble in this country is everyone knows everyone and nobody wants to stick their head above the parapet. You'll have guys here that will be utterly disgusted by this but because they know the people involved will defend them. There's two laws for people in this country, one for the rich and powerful and another for the rest.

You'll be made take it out I'm afraid. Not allowed wood in a dairy. Home for bacteria

Just checked the dept doc s106 and all I can find is that it must be flush finish?

Is there some other spec I can't find?

Also I think spec may be different for renovation.
