    Hi All,
I wondering if someone can shed some light on how this will work. I have filed a form 12 for the last couple of years for rental income and will file one this year (Last year I get away with this as next year my income will be too high and Ill have to file a form 11)

Anyway my issue is my tax credits are usually reduced by the amount I owe for the following year but I will go on maternity leave in December, I will only get the state benefit and plan to return the work around August all going well. Now that maternity leave is taxed how does this work with the form 12? Does anyone know?

Revenue will have the details of taxable income recieved, interfaced over from Dept of Social Protection.

If you file electronically, this info is pre-populated into the form automatically for you
