He can't seem to decide if it's done 40k or 48k. .. Looks a clean yoke all the same.

Is the 1.4 engine in that A2 the same as the one in golfs?

    Pretty much, yes.
VW have many similar versions of the 1.4 75ps engine. The ones on the A2 are usually found in the Polo/ibiza

    estate-nomics.

almost a full years test, rake of recent work including timing belt kit, pads and discs and tyres.

fair few miles on it, but it looks fresh (in the only photo).

worth a look at that money imo.
The only T25 I would ever consider buying is the estate one (in terms of body shape). But the only one I would never consider buying (in terms of an engine) is the diesel one.

    Now what? ;)

Give it a miss maybe and buy a petrol one?

    Thats mental value...
If thats the case, bill cant seem to get rid of older cars to the independents so they cant make their cut.
is that mean he selling crap, or indies cant get rid of their old stock, and is that due to the new cap on 15 yr old cars?

Because up until this new regulation from the insurance, prices for older cars were going up.

Don't want to derail the thread and I'm not trying to be argumentative but while a Quattro is fantastic, exceptional at what it does and a legend of an era, because of its rally fan base its image will be forever tarnished. Rally fans do for a cars image what wealthy Russians do to a high class ski resorts image

While certainly not uncool it could never be described as cool 'per se'

if it was rwd or had a decent engine it would be easier to like. i think the proportions are spot on tbh

Volvos don't need RWD, they were never drivers cars. And what's wrong with the engine? Reliable 5 pot modular that will go forever. Pity the car isn't auto though.

that's lovely for €2k! wouldn't mind it myself.

having read the ad though, it's clear he loves it and doesn't look to be stuck for space, so i'd be a little wary all the same as to why he's moving it on.

taxi tax unfortunately, but still a bargain if you felt like taking the chance.

and just to keep the MG theme going, a barely bangernomics ZS, 3 months test and a few minutes tax. still would for €650

I'd previously mentioned an uncle of mine looking to sell his 1994 W124 E200 a few weeks back - Ad went live today.

He's had it since 1999 & has only done about 4k miles a year since then. I'd have jumped at it if it was practical for me to take it on, but alas. :(

The pricing's a bit optimistic I know but there's quite a bit of wiggle room there too.

That's gorgeous. You know what? It's worth every cent. Best of luck to him.
