I'm happy at least that the new manager doesn't walk in to a season that has already been lost.

We are not by any means out of the picture in the league and still with all to play for in the EL.

As to our new manager - head says Ancelotti, heart says Klopp. Would be happy with either, although I'd have some doubts about both.

Best of luck brendan you didn't turn out to what I hoped but you gave your all. I'll never forget 13/14 it was the best ride I had as a pool fan.

Looking forward to the future hopefully we make an ambitious appointment.

The money spent doesn't match the results he achieved. Fair play to him for being able to harness Suarez, but even "that season" was ultimately disappointing and we only had ourselves to blame for not winning the league. Probably should have gone after the 6-1, but I think the goodwill from the previous year allowed him another chance. I believe the squad we have now are better than the results we have been getting, I hope the new boss gets them playing at their potential.

All the best to Rodgers, he didn't achieve a whole lot in his time at the club but he gave us one hell of a season to enjoy and has left a fairly good squad behind for the next manager to play with.
