XRGB and other upscalers

So I'm looking into getting an upscaler for my consoles to run them through HDMI. I have to get a super wide monitor for my PC to do work on it but if I'm going to run games on it I need a HDMI upscaler. Any recommendations on what one to buy and also where to buy one?

Most of my consoles are Japanese unmodified. I got some strange lines when playing on PAL modded to 60hz. You will not regret buying one, it transforms the output.

What's the DT extra on the Solaris site? Is it a d terminal to RGB cable?

I've been looking into this also the last 2 weeks or so, by all accounts the Framemeister mini is looking like the way to go. Pricey enough, but looking like a worthy investment, for me at least/

The D terminal is a connection used in Japan and allows you to connect component cables afaik. I got the cable with mine but I never used it, I read the conversion of component signals aren't great with the mini. There is a cable supplied but it's only suitable for Japanese 21or jp-21, it looks like a scart but it's wired differently and may destroy your scaler if you plug a rgb scart in.

I got one from the US from Retro console accessories, it's a powered one as I was getting dropouts when I used a scart switcher.

Having owned and used pretty much every scaler/processor going and spent €1000's in the process all I will say is the following:

Buy a Framemeister. You don't need anything else.
