I took that link from windows central, which seems to add an ad tracking link to the end of the links they put up. The ad tracking service was probably failing because I changed it from en-us to en-ie.

I've fixed the link, as I hate giving out anything to trackers. It's also here.

That was very fast, also weird that a full update was only 1gb given that previous full updates were 2gb minimum.

Friends, messages, notification are all so much faster to load an easier to access.

The game are images in my games are lowish resolution compared to before likely just for the beta, but it is noticeable.

Community tab stuff is too big, needs to be smaller I think.

Apps now snap to the left.

Dammit, I turned on my xbox hoping I'd have it too but alas, it's not to be!

It's weird, there's not mention of a new wave today on the xbox forums or on reddit.com apart from 1 random guy saying he has a 1gb update and will report back once it's installed.

I think there was a wave released on Friday at least according the Preview App.

The new dash is very good, I have only hit one bug with Sky HD not working correctly but I think that will be easily fixed

Once I think.

This is very much a beta after messing around with it , my main issue is every time I log in I have to disconnect from internet and reconnect to get my pins and friends list to show even though if I do a test it passes. Some games think you are offline when you are not so I have to disconnect and reconnect.

USB tuner isn't working for me but I haven't had time to fiddle with it and try and get it up and running again.

The other annoying one was when you boot up a game and have to press start/A nothing happens and you have to close it and open it again.

This is likely the reason it has an opt in and even then is not being offered to everyone, I was also in several previews on 360 so maybe thats why they pushed it to me.

Yeah, I'm in every dashboard beta/preview for as long as there has been one too and also any Windows previews as well as a being an "xbox ambassador" which means fúck all really.

I'm highly insulted if they don't offer it to me soon, nah jk, but I would like to try it out

Given the list of known issues and instability reported, it's probably for the best that they didn't roll it out very widely to start with, I think a lot of people sign up for preview programs without really knowing what they're getting into. Hopefully this new update today also contains a bunch of unmentioned 'bug fixes and general improvements' too.

New update today fixed the issues I had yesterday. Seems even faster than it was yesterday. Like going into the preview app for the quests and surveys was lightning quick. Party loads and joins you almost instantly now.

TV is working again and one guide is also much faster.

Tested gamestreaming last night, I was unplayable before now but was perfect on this

Edit: They seem to have removed the handy headset volume controls from the guide today , I'm sure it will be back there in a later update as it was perfectly positioned.

Yeah, there was a number of people on the Xbox Preview forums going mental at the start, although in fairness they were vastly outnumbered by the people pointing out that they should have read the known issues.

They do seem to be working on it pretty hard though.
