Unfortunately I can't see the game, but I thought you'd all like to know that Waghorn has bagged another brace.

7 Penos so far this season. Nothing strange about that at all.

I've a fair idea why they were awarded. I'd be certain that for every peno awarded this season, I could find Lee McCulloch doing the same thing last season and not giving a peno away.

It's obviously very hard to deny an element of bias when we have had the people running the game literally say how desperate they are for Rangers to "return" to the top flight, but at the same time you would expect a better team who has more possession to be winning more penalties.

Things are returning to normal it seems. Must feel like an old pair of slippers lads....

Hard not to be paranoid whil the SFA still allow an ex-season ticket holder referee your games.

    Ex-season ticket holder ?

What a bastard, right when we can use every single season ticket to avert a new administration event he doesn't buy one ? Disappointed :(

Don't think the season ticket money will get you through a season. 1 more ticket won't change that.

You don't have to read anything. The club is loss making, the club has no overdraft/short term loan facility, the club has huge outgoings, any collateral the club had is tied to Sports Direct now.

You don't have to be an economist to see an issue there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Eirebear

You got all that without reading anything? This is, indeed, the future.

So you learned all this just using the power of your mind wow just wow

As I thought, pithy replies, and I predict in 6-8 months when another club/company/corporate or sporting entity circles the drain we'll get the full victim spiel again. Surely the SFA knew he was convicted in SA, how were we to know the club had no money.

    Round and round it goes.

Care to explain where you got your info then ?

Because I'm very interested in looking at it myself. You know, to prepare mentally for the downfall (pun very much intended).

Is it a downfall if you haven't actually got back up?

It's contained in the very fabric of the universe. We're just not attuned to it.
All our mental energy is spent collectively pressurising officials into giving penalties.

Rangers own accounts show it as a loss making company. Your monthly outgoings are about £1m a month, you sold about £5m worth of season books. You had to take out numerous loans to get you to the end of last season. While the wage bill may have lowered, your overheads like Murray Park/Ibrox remain the same. Unless you think the upkeep pays for itself.

So basically you're comparing the situation last season to that of this season despite everything having changed ?

    Glad you're not an accountant.
