If you think season ticket money is the only income of a club you need to learn a lot about football.

But it's fine, you obviously believe we won't see out the season, despite not having any clear proof.

Just like Eirebear's updates on Waghorn's goals I'm sure we can come back to this come the end of the season to see who was right.

Most clubs have merchandise, licensed branding, player sales. You don't. Care to tell me what other income streams you have? A few subscribers to RTV?

So we are ranked 268th and UEFA recognise our 2.050 points in 11/12 (Malmo/Maribor seasons 2012/13, 13/14, 14/15 and 15/16

Happens whenever a club is liquidated. Same happened with Unirea when they went bust. You get taken off the UEFA list after 5 years. If this incarnation makes it to Europe they'll start off at whatever Scotland's coefficient is.

Keeping an eye on Rangers coefficient now, and watching what coefficient the team playing in Scottish division 1 starts on should be an eye opener to those who claim UEFA see it as the same.

Strangely, you can click on the names of the clubs around Rangers on that list, but not Rangers. Why ever could that be??

King will have to buy oldco now regardless of the cost. The cat is surely out of the bag even with the most deluded of rangers fans.

Regarding king and his claims about finances, has he found anyone willing to put their name to his version of accounts yet? I.e. An auditor

He makes it clear one of the main reasons is to pay off the creditors the full amount if possible.

Turns out King is/ was a creditor of oldco.

Yes we know that not like many of another club including Phil three names who insisted King had got all his money back. I don't se thisakes s lot of difference as King will still have to lay out a hell of a lot of money to achieve it.

Why do you keep going on about Phil MacGiollaBhain?

King didn't mention the bit about him being a creditor of oldco when he was talking about plans to bring it back from the dead so that rangers fans wouldn't have to suffer taunts from rival fans anymore. It appears a bit dodge the whole thing and probably won't happen anyway. Did King not get 18m of his 20m back when his accounts were discussed in court in South Afrika?

That's not possible, I'm sure we were told he got all his money back.

    Right guys ?

Who cares if he got all his money back or not? You love a good rabbit hole..

'I'd like to see us taking Oldco out of liquidation and putting assets back into Oldco - putting the old Rangers back into the old company.

'I don't think it is important. I just think it would be a good thing to do. It would be back to the traditional Rangers.

'It is a valid thing to take a company out of liquidation and put the assets back into it. I think the supporters would like it.

'You can never rewind what's happened but you can try and look back in 100 years' time and say there was a blip of four or five years in Rangers' history when this all happened and it was resolved to the norm again.'

Alot of people involved in Rangers claimed that Rangers were a new club, ye dismissed them as people with an axe to grind or fobbed them off anyway ye could. If King said this when he was taking over the club, ye would have been spewing about him in the same light as Ashley. Now that he has a considerable stake in the club and saying what everyone has been saying for years, will ye finally come out of denial about your situation? Its beyond embarrassing

You have got to question the intelligence of King for raising this little hot potato

' RANGERS chairman Dave King has had a claim for millions from the £18 million club oldco creditors pot thrown out by liquidators.

The South African businessman had claimed he was owed £20 million over an investment in the club 15 years ago, when Sir David Murray was owner. If he had succeeded it would have made him the third biggest creditor of the in-liquidation former operating company.

But the Herald understands the liquidators BDO have rejected his claim as an unsecured creditor - potentially raising the amount available to others stung by the oldco collapse.

Mr King revealed moves on Thursday to try and pay off the oldco creditors and revive the oldco, RFC 2012 plc, which is in the process of being liquidated after former owner Craig Whyte presided over its descent into administration in February, 2012.

It is a move that could potentially see the club having to come up with as much as £78 million to pay off creditors.

One insolvency expert has said that even if creditors agreed to a settlement, it would only result in the oldco either being dissolved or placed back into the hands of the previous owner, Craig Whyte. '

Celtic games on, still chatting about Rangers.

Should be a fairly easy one for us today given current form, but I guess we're bound to slip up sometime.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

We are, but I doubt it's against a team that has 1 point out of 5 games.

    Put 40 euro on Rangers -3 and 10 on -5 ;)

Unchanged lineup. Nice to get some consistency

In answe to your last point no
King did not need to mention it every Rangers fan knows he is s creditor

Easy enough, despite not playing that great as the last few games.

Livi are not even that bad, they're pretty decent at the back but offer nothing up front.

    How was Zelalem today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Had some good touches and passes, but Livi players were pretty keen on shutting him and Oduwa down with some rough tackles.

Will need to build some muscle I think ;)

Yeah he needs to bulk up a bit alright, a season in Scotland should be a good way for him to toughen up if he doesn't shy from the challenge.

They're both a delight to watch on the ball though. So far ahead of anything we've seen at Ibrox for a good few years.

Great goal but why do people go to live sport and then proceed to watch it through a tiny lcd screen? Some television channel or another, with big boy cameras will have recorded it anyway.

Still an excellent start to the season for Rangers, they won't mess up promotion this time.
