Lads anyone know if there is no stock of an item you want but the Argos site allows you to order the item for collection for next Tuesday or Thursday, and you get an email confirmation saying thank you for your reservation but doesn't have a reservation number, is that normal?

I think that means the reservation doesn't work. I've had that before and it didn't send me any number and wasn't able to collect as I'd no number to use.

Ah balls it! I'll wait and see if it will come in next week or not! I thought you wouldn't get a reservation number until your local branch got it in to their stockroom

If you didn't get a reservation number then its not reserved. Sometimes there's a computer glitch that lets you reserve something that's not there but without a reservation number means there's no product. :-(

Ok thanks and one final question is there any way to get an item transferred from one store for example Wexford to an Argos store near me or is the only way to reserve it and drive down?

Mega Blocks Minions Castle Playset: http://checkargos.com/?search=4026420

Priced at €105 in the catalogue and online, but scanning at €54 at the till today - might be worth a check tomorrow in case it's still scanning at the lower price then. Smyths have it priced at €94.99.

There seems to be some reductions on Electric Toothbrushes at the moment, the following amongst others:

Some of the reviews from Amazon and other places are mixed. Does anyone own any of these and can recommend one? They mention the noise of some of them in the reviews too, I really don't one that's too noisy if possible. Cheers!

Yeah they are good, even the budget models. Had a ropey matress you could feel the springs through, the topper made it very comfy though. Still bit of a stop gap though.

Picked up one of the mattress toppers, our current mattress is a bit "springy". The topper has noticeably improved this, no more springs in my back!
