Agree completely, it's been a painful GW.

The season so far has been painful. I can't figure it out.

Not he's not worth holding. And here's why.

Sanchez has been playing great for the last 5 games, coming within a whisker of goals and assists, lots of shots on target, touches in the box, hitting posts and what not.

Aguero on the other hand is miles off that...

Anyone who regularly does well finding it v tough this year? :(
Lads getting 60 points with 3 or 4 players not starting, who don't have a clue about football in my work league, and here's me struggling with an average of 35ish every GW so far.

I'm doing quite well. I'm sure like you there'll be a year or a start to a year where I don't though. Near impossible to keep it going year upon year, week upon week.

Yep, 3 top 10k finishes in last 4 years including a top 1k last year. Currently have 290 points and can't seem to get it going at all. Am 70 points behind an auto pick team who got Smalling and Milner off his bench today for Baines and Henderson!!!

Seen some chap - 49th in the world - triple captain Payet today - is playing 2 up top - Pelle and Lukaku, - watch Lukaku get a hatrick now on Monday.

Wouldn't say I was very good at this game but same as normal for me to be honest I never start well for some reason so very familiar with this sort of thing! I was just outisde the top 1m after GW7 last season so if I end up around my current rank on Monday I will be pretty happy with that!

It's been an anomaly of a start to the season so far alright with people being rewarded with what are daft decisions. I wouldn't lose faith yet (though the mad successes being paraded around would test most people's patience!).

Hello to everyone..I have been using this forum since the past 2 seasons, although i do not post much, im pretty sure i have read almost each and every post here(one more lurker). I feel the discussions here have been great and it has helped me shape my team greatly. I have developed good understanding of the game. Wont take much of your time but i really appreciate the effort taken by you guys to analyze each and every player/fixture before gw.
Im currently 6th in the boards.ie league and its just has been a crazy season this year. Hope to continue the RUN..CHEERS everyone and all the best.

Ive won my work one for 3 of the last 4 years, currently way off the pace, 86 points behind the leader ........he normally finishes towards the bottom.
I see it with other guys also, it seems to be almost a complete reversal of fortunes this season.........so far.

I'm finding casual players that don't read sites and blogs or pay attention to polls or price rises have been doing well so far. A lot of players that historically do well probably brought in Agüero after gw2 and have captained him since. He's topped most captain polls with the exception of this week. Some bandwagons started on sites like FFS haven't come off. Also the template team at the start of the season was a disaster for most. Mane, Sakho, Hazard, Rooney, etc. Which would have been picked up online. Whereas the causal player may have had a completely different team.

It should all even out eventually.

Well done, don't know how you can read all those posts and not be inspired to respond more often, maybe that's just me(and about thirty other eejits:P). It'd be great to hear more from you.:)

Right, what's the story with Pedro, I took a fair bit of flack after his debut for suggesting he benefitted rom a bit of luck that day, now like a fool I brought him in on the wildcard to save a bit of money. So I watched him closely yesterday and he was by some distance the worst player on the pitch, if he had been playing for Newcastle he would have been taken off, made Navas look like Ronaldo etc.
Is it an idea to plan for his immediate exit from my team before next week or is there confidence that he will come into something approaching form, Willian and Ramires made a huge difference yesterday when they came in

I brought him in on a wildcard also, he's not doing much and Chelsea still off the pace. His next 2 fixtures are at home though, I think I'll wait and see how those go.
Although, Man C also have 2 home fixyures - will probably go Pedro - KDB

I didn't see the game yesterday but would pay more attention to pedro''s career stats which suggest he will get in and around a goal every 3 games. I like him as a player and think he is an ideal ff player. My fear with him us Mourinho playing a hardworker like ramires or willian ahead of him as they help cover ivans defensive deficiencies.

The last part is what I was getting at, I could see him out in the cold. I think the epl is different to other leagues and he wouldn't be the first not to live up to his reputation. If you saw him yesterday you might agree that he didn't look like he was adding anything at all, he did have one Good chance but..... Well you'll see it on motd

I was also not impressed with Pedro yesterday. Hazard was much more involved and lively. Of course if Pedro takes that chance he's looking at an 8 pointer.....
I'll be giving him until Villa at home since that's a plum fixture, but would not be surprised to see him on the bench now for Willian or Ramires

Hazard looked a lot better yesterday. Still Chelsea just don't instill confidence at all yet. You'd have to think with the quality of players they have, they won't continue on like this all season.

World no. 3 is in an NBC league under "broadcaster league" as opposed to classic or H2H. Never seen one of those before??

    Is Kane worth considering again?

Spurs have looked consistent and he's finally got a goal, albeit an offside one.

Or what about Son, who has looked their best player?

I don't think he's looked great at all and I think there are better options. And I've had him up until the last couple of gws! He even managed to nearly miss his goal:pac: Martial looked outstanding even though he didn't score, I would much rather him or Vardy despite MU fixtures

Just about Pedro. I'm not sure Chelsea with Mourinho's "infamous" 3rd season "collapse" is the best choice for him. He'd have fitted so much better in Arsenal, with this quality midfield behind him and/or partnering Giroud upfront.

Anyway, I just ditched him. So expect a 20 pointer next GW :pac:...

On recent form Lamela has been our best. Not even joking.

Gameweeks 8 and 9 are the weeks that tide turns. The weeks that those who have Aguero will be significantly rewarded. I can feel it.
