What is a good number of matches per week on Tinder

Depends how much you give a fcuk I guess. I'm about average. Sometimes I'm arsed looking at the app, others not. I get matches when I feel like playing along, and don't when I can't be bothered or I'm busy having a life. Funnily enough, I don't accrue extra personal value when I get matches. Weird, that...

Very true, I'm trying to train myself to not seek validation from females! It is a hard road.

What I want to know is how many matches are average looking guys on Tinder getting? I imagine it is brutal, 1 or 2 matches a week must be common place.

About 2-3 a week excluding the fake ones.

I don't have many female friends, I don't click with them really.

I mean just in general. You don't say any of this 'x game, y game, alpha male etc' stuff in earshot of women right? Just online here or wherever?

It's okay, you can actually call them women, not just females. Much less kidwithmagnifyingglass.

Are you kidding? That talk gets them wetter than the front row of a Magic Mike gig.

I'm sure you are quite attractive but don't live up to females insane standards.

I don't believe in 'game' or 'alpha males', the alpha male with the best 'game' in the room will be the 135 pound quiet male model looking guy.

I might watch 4 or 5 a week. 2 or 3 Premiership matches & 2 La Liga matches on Sky Sports & a extra 2 matches if the Champions League is on during the week on RTE.

The only game he'd be playing is World of Warcraft.

Ah right, so all this 'looksmaxing' 'tinder game' 'hair game' lingo is just you taking the piss a bit here online?

I'm always torn between being p1ssed off at men who call women "females" and being grateful to them for saving me time by immediately self-indentifying as people I don't want to go near with a hazmat suit.

Everyone should be doing everything they can to reach the magical 8/10 category('looksmaxing), that's where you are mixing it with the big boys

When you look like a god, females will approach, nobody cares about body, its all about the face.

It's just, you know all this stuff makes you seem really really insecure and desperate and a bit bitter and all those other things women just absolutely love?

I mean, just as long as you know not to actually say any of it around women or that's how you'll appear to them.

Believe it all you want, just never let women know you do, or you may as well have 'HIV' tattooed across your forehead.

Lamentablemente , there is a point of diminishing marginal returns. It is very hard to even break beyond average, let alone into the 7, 8(the sweet spot)or Holy moly, the 9 category.

Going to the gym, fashion, looking after your skin, it won't be enough for 99 per cent of people, its a sad fact.

I think the sad fact around here is you.

Hey guys, lay off the OP. You can actually all learn a hell of a lot from what he's saying. Just think of his posts as a "What To Never Ever Say If You Want To Be A Likeable Human Being" guide and you're good to go!

I've absolutely no doubt that Justin Bieber is one of his role models - something that would probably make even Justin Bieber cringe.

The army has me ruined as everything is identified in terms of "females." Have to remind myself occasionally they're not another species.

Justin Bieber is an overrated 7/10 living off huge status and money game. He has peaked, all the drugs and flying have caught up with him, god help him when he loses his hair. Goodnight sweet prince.

Godmaxing or Stupidmaxing? I know you're maxing something here. Take it to the max there Garrixfan.

I think I'm reaching the point of cringmaxing.

Tinder is absolutely the worst now.

Ever since the recent update for Android, it's pushing notifications to turn on GPS constantly, even if you click no. Surely WiFi would be enough to determine my location. Then you add in the complete and utter randomness of people appearing and matching and the sheer number of bots.. it's just an exercise in frustration and annoyance.

Legit. I will delete it quite soon.

Garrixfan i know some of the people are joking with you but ive seen a few of your posts and literally nearly every one of them is about looks.

You even describe yourself as not good looking and couldnt understand why some women wouldnt want to date ronaldo. You keep using the word "game" and place value and score systems on your looks out of ten.

The reason you cant click with women is because you probably judge them the way you judge yourself and dont really get to know them. No woman or man or fame or wealth or whatever is going to validate you if you dont like yourself ffs.

Take a bit of time to work on your self esteem. Look for the good points you have not only in looks but in your personality. Spend time doing things you enjoy not things you think make you look cool.

When you do all that and you start to have genuine confidence in who you are then look for women on tinder or wherever and actually get to know them and only go out with them you genuinely like them and have fun with them.

I thought going to the gym would be more Grindr than Tinder.
