Same here with the first 4 eps. I'm still watching because Mariska Hargitay gives me the horn. When she and I are in our 90s this show will still be going for that reason alone.
Unless on US pace don't read:
Though it is getting rid of leading characters at a worryingly rapid rate. I'm practically a double for Captain Cregan. No need for this compulsory retirement ****e.

Did you notice a few familiar faces from The Wire in Munch's leaving party? His history is in Baltimore PD where The Wire is set and he even appears in one episode of The Wire too in a bar with Captain Rawls!

It's sad Richard Belzer has to leave. One of the SVU people said on Twitter that he left because his cancer came back. I hope he makes a full recovery again xx.

I'm really loving the 15th season. I think the new episodes have been great so far. I think he show is starting to get back on its feet.

I'm liking the Benson/Cassidy match and I hope it continues. Benson has had a crap love life for the last 14 years I've been watching this show, its nice to see her finally with someone in a serious relationship. I'm sort of glad Chris is gone now. I was fed up of watching Stabler have a temper tantrum in the squadroom every other epsiode, he got boring, and he dragged Benson down too. It was time for a change. I'm liking Benson a lot more now that she's not acting like Elliot's puppy dog anymore.

I'm starting to like Amaro and Rollins (although I was reading an interview with Kelli Giddish and I was surprised to learn she was only 33 years old! I think she looks so much older than that. I really thought she was in her early-to-mid forties. And I hope we see more of Fin this season. His character's been neglected for the past 2 seasons.

What did you all think about the first episode? I thought it was really well done. The writing and the acting were excellent.
When Olivia got free and was beating Lewis with the metal bar I was screaming at the screen 'KILL HIM! KILL THE BASTARD'

Youre not still watching this rubbish are you?

:D,No, I only came to this show in about the 10th or 11th season possibly, so I never really missed Stabler/Chris even though he was good.I think Amaro sort of fulfills the aggressive role.Munch was great with the funny one liners and he is a loss to the show, but I still think the show is still great as ever.

Loving Amaro this season, I'm finally warming to him after Elliott's departure. Liv's current storyline is really interesting, can't wait to see how it pans out.

In that undercover episode, even I found some of his accent hard to understand!

Lewis really has got her in the s*** trouble now.Getting her to admit she done wrong with the kidnapping and then not facing the consequences. How will she get out of it now.Maybe she might have to step down from her role as head of the SVU team at best?

I not sure, the announcer even said "back again". Are ye sure it wasn't a repeat?

Maybe ye are correct, I will check it out.

Rollins former boss seems to have some hold or dirty secret on her going by next weeks anyway.

There is a bit of confusion about this, that episode youre talking about. Is it the one where Olivia gets dolled up with Fin going under cover?

That one seems to be called "A dangerous guest" or "Undercover Mother"?

    S16 E15??????

For the first two thirds. Worst deux ex machina ending I've seen in yesrs.

I am kind of disappointed they used the ripped from the headlines ending on this one.

The ripped from the headlines ending was one the show was always going to do major spoiler on what was ripped from the headlines
Robert Durst admitting to murder on HBO The Jinx
they just took it to ridiculous level and made a mess of it with the

None, but if I recall right, us "US citizens" normally get a 4 - 6 week headstart on the earliest local airing. This we gradually lose due to Thanksgiving / basketball playoffs and other such ridiculous Yank nonsense.

Anyone remember when this show was a gritty crime drama? Now its like a soap opera, Olivias personal problems, Rollins and her personal problems, was the same with Nick......its getting very boring and repetetive. Almost everyone is a serial killer theses days...

The latest episodes were very predictable, the whole jailed killer giving clues to catch another killer........come back Dr Lecter!!

Will watch the next couple of eps but losing patience with it.....
