Anyone thinking Walcott? Has a good record against Chelsea. Their defence is a mess at the moment and I think they'll have trouble coping with his pace.

Your captain has to be 100% guaranteed to start if fit for me and Walcott isn't. What if he gets a 20 minute run at the end? Too big a risk IMO.

Lazily captained Aguero but I know if I take it off him, he'll smite me!! :D

If you have splashed the cash on Aguero, Shirley home to West Ham is a default captaincy. If not, then when??

West Ham are playing well and Aguero isnt 100% fit

My gut is Silva, and I don't know why.

Pellegrini said yesterday he's 100% fit but I've a feeling he might only get 70/75 mins

On Agüero. And due to majority captaining him I'd fear a big score. So it's staying there. It's been a fecking trap the past few weeks. No point having him if not captaining. He's too expensive for that.

I've that fear the week I don't captain him he'll explode. In my sky game I can have a Mahrez/Mane double captain this week or Aguero singular and it's a head wreck :)

Has been declared 100% fit, no? And ok they might be playing well, but they are still West Ham. Most expensive player in the game, playing for the top team, at home to a side expected to finish mid-table. I just think these are the games (say 15/19 at home and 10/19 away) that he is default captain.

May be wrong today, but over the course of the season...

today is the day he rewards the loyal

Can live with that though, even though if I'm not sure about it given there's no midweek game.

There is carling cup which he won't play in makes it far more likely for aguero to get 90 as bony can get a run out midweek.

Thinking the same, its a risk but i think he will start. Bringing him in for hazard and possibly captaining. He offers more of a threat with his pace than giroud against the chelsea defence

Dunno. Shirley has let me down too many times before. Her stats aren't great either.

    Mahrez (sto)
I'm leaning towards Wilson as captain this week.

    Reasoning:

    * Bournemouth are at home.
    * While Bournemouth have only an average goals for column Sunderland have second worst defense so far this season (11 against)
    * Wilson has played every minute of every game for Bournemouth so far
    * My other options Rooney and Hazard are playing in tougher games so I'm less confident picking them to do well this week.

Basically I'm praying Wilson comes up with the goods!

Bournemouth haven't won a home game yet. Just something to consider.

True but I don't mind if they don't win just as long as Wilson scores and he did score last home game against Leicester :P I'm prob relying on Sunderland being awful as much as anything!

    An interesting stat I found:

Kun has scored 7 goals in his last 6 PL games at the Etihad and 4 in his last 5 games (home or away) against West Ham.

    Captaincy stays on Kun.

Just widening the picture a tiny bit. Your points are equally valid. Another point to consider is Bournemouth have a 0.5 home goals per game average. It's the 2 goals per away game stat that has done them well so far

But some of those games were last year and form doesn't necessarily transfer across the summer gap - just ask Chelsea.

Only 1 home blank this season though.

Big Harry Kane. Palace conceded more headed attempts than anyone this season. He's had plenty of attempts and I liked the cut of his jib when he came on Thursday. Can't see what could possibly go wrong here :)

I am thinking of Igahlo as Newcastle have been that bad every time I've seen them this season. Kolarov and Mahrez other possibilities. I am wary of going with Kun as he might only get 60 minutes.
