Bosch dishwasher Detergent Dispenser opening too early

    Just recently after turning on the machine and closing door, 30 seconds in I can hear the detergent dispenser opening at beginning of rinse cycle? Can't figure out why this is happening... would it be a mechanical failure, or control board / software issue? Also have noticed a few times that the dispenser door will not close sometimes but turning off the machine for a period of time seems to reset something and then am able to close the detergent dispenser but as before I can hear the detergent dispenser opening too early in the cycle. Any ideas folks... Everything looks clean / no residue etc and we do clean it regularly...

    that's an unusual one, if its an older d/w check along the lower edge of the door panel and you will see the wiring loom, check it thoroughly for cracks or breaks, if its a newer machine the door panel would need removing and the solenoid checked with a meter to see if it is getting a mains ac supply too soon
