Stoke have lost both their home games this season, 1-0 losses to Liverpool and WBA, neither of which have shown much attacking prowess this season.

Leicester beat West Ham 2-1 away, with Mahrez netting 10 points. They drew 1-1 with Bournemouth away, however Mahrez went off injured at HT.

Mahrez looking more and more tempting tbh.

He's also a bap whore. Max bonus every time he's scored

Don't see all the love for Kun this week myself, not on form and might be carrying a knock still. Will probably go for either Mahrez or Hoolahan, have had a captain fail every week this season when going for the obvious choice so now I'm just going to say **** it and go for the outside chances.

Hoolahan away to Liverpool as captain?

From what I've seen of Liverpools defence so far this season it doesn't worry me in the slightest, they are after leaking 6 goals in two games, granted this could be the week they stop playing like idiots but I can't see it.

How many goals do you expect Norwich to score this weekend? What percentage of those do you expect Hoolahan to be involved in? Do you expect them to be assists or goals?

These are the questions I'd be asking when deciding on a captain and I don't think Hoolahan holds up well when I put together the answers.

I am thinking of Igahlo as Newcastle have been that bad every time I've seen them this season. Kolarov and Mahrez other possibilities. I am wary of going with Kun as he might only get 60 minutes.

You missed the part where they didn't concede any goal in their first three games so you could say they've conceded six goals over five games.

if the injury is just a kick that caused heavy bruising Ill be giving aguero the armband as if he is in the squad he is fit . Its totally different if its some sort of a strain as that is much riskier.

Just reading back the thread and was wondering when someone was going to point this out. Its not a hamstring strain like we've seen with Aguero and Costa before where its tight and prone to reinjury. Its a kick on the knee. If the scans show no ligament ir other damage and the bruising goes down he'll be fit and no need to ease back in carefully as with a muscle strain.

I really don't think Ighalo is captain material any week.
I'm debating whether or not I should start him this week.

Probably true, just going with how bad Newcastle are rather than Igahlo being any good. If we are going with consistency so far, it has to be Mahrez. Although if I had Benteke I would probably go with him.

It's still something Bilic might tell West Ham players to target and I'm sure Pellegrini won't be leaving him on any longer than he has to

Aguero on bench tonight for city. Must ake him a very likely starter against west ham.

They obviously got results of the scan with nothing for them to worry about. The bruising probably just needs to settle down a bit. If he is OK for the bench tonight in 4 days time he will surely be fine.

I mentioned it before but the Today FM lads were adamant it was more precaution to take him off than anything else. He hadn't even the leg iced on the bench.

Mahrez against a poor Stoke side. Picked up 2 points from my captain every week so far, at least this way Mahrez only gets two points for everyone else aswell.

    Mahrez (sto)
Kolarov if i bring him in for Azpil

Tempted by Wilson v Sunderland(who are weak at the back)

After Mahrez risk paid off last week, going for Kolarov this GW

Silva for me and Kane vice, still worried about west ham seem to have done well away from home against the stronger teams (Liverpool and arsenal)

I'll admit I messed up last week by picking Antonio as captain luckily I had Virgil Van Dijk as VC so got 14 points from him

No more crazy stuff, think Callum Wilson is decent shout

    Very much torn this week.

I've been sticking with Aguero but he hasn't produced and I'm slipping further down my league tables each week.

The only reason I'd pick Aguero this week is fear. Is that a good enough reason to pick your cpt ? Fear that the others who own+cpt him will leap away from you, fear that he'll finally explode ?

I'm looking hard at Wilson and Mahrez though.

VERY much in the same boat and it's possibly the biggest Captaincy headache thus far! 90% sure I'll end up going with Kun out of pure fear.

But Wilson could very easily bag a hat-trick against a hopeless Sunderland. Time for a bold choice? Probably not.

Thinking of bringing in Benteke for Gomis out of fear also.
