    Actually forget about it I just discovered they are a Halfords own brand bike. Probably nothing wrong with that generally speaking as they are not Halfords low end BSO Apollo brand but still.

    I would think the Boardman range would be a better buy if you are getting one from Halfords.

    I heard Halfords bought out the Boardman brand recently. Hopefully they keep them as top bikes when they have their design monkeys speccing them up.

    The Kona Blast at €719 is the other model I was considering. Have yet to make a formal decision on it.

    Have you tried second hand Stereo?

    The 13 is getting decent reviews for it's price, looks like a bike you could upgrade in the future, but it depends what you're actually looking for, where you plan to use it.
