Opel Zafira (2002-2003)

Any opinions on the Opel Zafira from either 2002 or 2003? Is there any known problems? It will be my first car and I need a 7 seater. Just hope it will be reliable. Any other recommendations?

Finding a good 12 or 13 year old reliable Zafira will be a challenge. Most of them are very rough at this stage, reliability is average on them but they have been known to have ECU issues which can be expensive to fix. Reliability of any car of that age will totally depend on the individual car rather than the brand though and how it was maintained by it's owners over the years.

I would go for a honda stream at that age/price bracket if reliability is important.
