I saw a teaser trailer for it and they came across as being genuinely happy with their position.

What a great show! (at being terrible). It has so much awful goodness.

I've only just watched the first two matches. Terry funk vs Norman smiley was a perfectly acceptable hardcore match. Who in the blue hell was Ralphus ? What a utter waste. He walked around with a trash can backstage and I was shouting for him to hit terry funk. you can tell that tony schiavone would have been anywhere else but sitting at ringside calling the matches.

Ralphus was Chris Jericho's gimmick bodyguard. Was he still, around in 2000? Haven't watched that show since the Warjer Bros. VHS tape years ago.

Apparently. He wore a mask for most of it as a "mystery partner" in a baseball catchers gear. Why I don't know. It was painful to watch.

Also I've not got that far yet but the fact that David arquette was the ****ing wcw worlds champion annoys me more than it should. I'm right in thinking that him getting the title was Vince Russos brilliant idea ? Jim cornette is right about Russo.

Cornette is always right, I could spend all day watching his shoot videos.

Table For 3 with The New Day is on now. Probably wouldn't've gone out of my way to see it.

Tyler is MVP of NXT at the moment, so entertaining. Bull's great now too.

Adam Rose's promo was death. Be Kruger or go away!

The why is easy. It was a gay joke.

Ralphus was the "catcher", Norman Smiley was the "pitcher".

Why didn't that get brought up on Are You Serious? in the last few years I wonder. Shocking carry on. To think of how politically incorrect so much of this was not so long ago.

Regardless if you agree with him or not, Cornette is entertaining.

I dunno, it was pretty awful and not really subtle either.

I'm just watching Slamboree 2000 now, the whole show is just absurd. Kinda moronic that in a feud between the rich main event stars that want to keep their spot on the card, and a group of the younger and/or overlooked talent trying to break through, it's the guys at the top being portrayed as faces.

Sure WCW just lost the run of themselves putting over oul lads and having basketball players and television people into their main events. I tuned right out when all of that happened. It's mad to think of how much things have changed over the last 15 years in PC terms.

Yeah, I was fairly young when this stuff happened so I've only really got vague memories of some of the stuff that happened.

Highlight of the PPV "Russo gave me the name Hugh Morrus so people would laugh at me, to make me a joke. Now you'll call me by my real name... Hugh. G. Rection!"

This is the same guy who would berate young trainees at the Performance Centre about 12 or 13 years later. Wow, they must have seen the potential from his stellar performances here. I didn't really follow it at that stage but kept up on WCW from seeing them in the magazines.

Yeah that was a Russo idea. Arquette apparently didn't want to do it and tried to talk Russo out of it and later gave whatever money he made to the families of Pullman, Owen as well as Darren Drozdov. Arquette was there to promote that Ready2Rumble film, the one where wrestling fans are portrayed as geeks!

It's worth pointing out that for all the talk about the WWE title being devalued over the years and the aforementioned Arquette fiasco, Vince McMahon was WWF champion in 1999 after pinning Triple H on Smackdown. Granted it played into a storyline but it was a clusterf**k and Triple H really stumbled to get over as the #1 heel early on in his run.

A few more ECW tv from 96 being added.

Up to Slamboree on my Raw/Nitro 96 viewing.

At this stage neither show is must see tbh. I think nitro is the better show but wwe have better build ups to their ppvs.

Battle bowl is the concept for slamboree which is basically tag teams picked randomly and its awful.

Id like to see the Austin podcast done like the way this is.

I dont think Steve looks comfortable doing the podcast live on the network.

I only just remembered this when I saw it mentioned there. They haven't really been plugging it throughout the evening have they? Hopefully there's some new information on there.

Enjoyed part 1 of the Bischoff interview.

Anyone watch Night of Champions? Spoiler alert (kind of but not really)!

Seems Sting nearly suffered a broken neck taking a powerbomb. Am I the only one to suspect Rollins being sloppy considerng he also made sh@t of Cena's poor nose a few weeks ago?

Just another reason for me not taking to him.
