Pay for fuel so should i pay BIK

Hi I drive a van for work and pay my employer for my commute to and from work as I have a long commute. Should I be paying BIK? I don't use the van for personal use. Thanks

If your employer requires you to keep the van at home and you only use it for business purposes and spend more than 80% of your time away from base, you can be exempted from BIK. This was always the case when I had a company van - there was no secure storage at the office and I had my own private car. My employer required proof of that before they'd agree though.

As goes the fuel you pay for yourself, this *might* be allowable against the BIK but I'd want that checked with someone with more experience of the rules:
