Sorry, so I should want a player in my team to get sent off and be disappointed when he scores well just because he has high ownership?

At this stage of the season it's great to be passing fellas out, but (almost)anybody who will be in the top 10k at the end of the season will have Mahrez in their team today so your gains look good but there really nothing to get excited about in the long run.

Sure, big differential points are always better. I still hugely enjoyed Aguero(c) 46(?) point haul and that was >80% captaincy and ownership for serious players. I believe Busts still doesn't have Mahrez? I would only not be happy with Mahrez points if he was highly captained and I don't believe he was (except those casuals we all love)

Yeah he just posted that he's getting him in :)

Anyone know if the Richards assist will be reviewed?

I don't have mahrez have vardy that last assist with the 3bps it brings and probably stops vardy getting any is a big swing. There is always people without players that you want to get an edge on.

I realise that but I still don't think there is anything wrong with celebrating when a player in your team gets a good score

Like I said his points are great, but he hasn't really saved a gameweek, anyone who is half serious about the game will already have him* and some will have captained him

    *Granted a few exceptions

Cheers pal I'll be getting him in tonight.

Everything gets reviewed before the points come up as confirmed. Wouldn't be too confident of it getting reversed though.

I don't think many serious players will have him captained. I just don't see the issue with celebrating when a player you have does well, regardless of ownership etc

Ugh, Mahrez has undone a lot of my good results yesterday. I have to bring him in, can't believe I haven't yet.

It hurts that I'll be paying, what, 0.8 more than what he was at the start of the season. But I've learned the hard way before that that is not a good reason not to get an in-form player in.

    44 all in, meh

Just broke the 200 point barrier

I hope this isn't referring to my post on the Vardy captainer?

No moaning here. I'm fully aware it'll work itself out. I said just yesterday how the randomness is making it interesting.

Not aimed at anyone in particular. I just find myself reading a lot of people whingeing and moaning across the threads. I really don't see the need for it tbh.

    It's early days yet.

I'll be doing the same although I made .1 on him in wildcard week. I wouldn't worry about it there will come a time when you will want to sell him short term injury, suspension, poor fixtures. A lot of the people that bought early end up basing decisions on the fear of what they lose if they want him back.

This is a forum, whinging and moaning is it's true purpose:P, people who are drawn to forums are rarely Pollyanna types:pac:

I have to say fair play to you, I remember you talking up Mahrez before this season started, not many others mentioned him. Wish I'd taken your advice:(
I have him now of course, only saw him on MOTD before today and I watched the camogie final mostly, but from what I saw he's a super player, will be moving on to bigger and better things before long.

This game is all about getting more decisions right than wrong. Some of mine have worked out splendidly: Mahrez, Kolarov, Shaw, Myhill and even Benteke I feel to a lesser extent. 2 goals from five games isn't that bad.

Others have failed spectacularly the same as anyone else: Huth, Hazard, Ivan.

Going on last season, I do think we have a habit on here of overthinking. Benteke has 2 goals in 5 and Liverpool have had tough enough fixtures. I certainly think he's worth having. He's living on scraps alright but that didn't stop him at Villa.

That makes sense, I try not to moan too much but I've never had a worse prolonged run than this year, saying that it was only after week 5 last year that I broke into the top million, I won't do that tonight but hopefully next week. I am well aware it's a marathon, and this year it'll be easier to make ground probably because I am probably not alone in thinking that there are probably 500 people in the top 1k at the moment that I feel absolutely certain I will finish above, probably couldn't have said that with the same confidence last year (probably 950 if I'm being honest)

edit: have I used probably enough??:o (and me with a degree in English an all:eek:)

Same, been waiting too for form to go but today was the first time I watched him closely the whole match and he 's the real deal

Liverpool next two games are at home against Norwich and villa,I definitely think he'll score in both.

I think once sturridge is back in the fold. He'll play behind benteke, sturridge has great link up play. So the two should gel together well

If Richards keeps the assist, I'll finish on 47. Pretty happy with that.

46 points I'm on with one to sub in from Gomez so I'll finish on 47.

50 with Payet left, going in the right direction

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,948 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

On 47, Westwood will sub on for Silva so I'll take 49 for the week thank you very much.

Still haven't cracked the 50 point barrier for a GW but I'm moving in the right direction and happy enough with my team.

Mahrez means my 48 points looks a lot more average, hoping for something form Payet to push me ahead again.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Mahrez bps look like winning 2 h2h matches for but with a total of 37 it has been another trying week.

Time to dump one or two, 2 ft plus a -4 not totally ruled out.
