PSA Security Licence

    I hope this is a right place to ask about PSA

    I am planing to do combined course Combined Guarding Skills (4N1118) & Door Security Procedures (4N1114) - QQI Level 4 at Kingstown College and
    I was quoted €499 for both of them and PSA fees were also included.I am not sure is it a good place to do it or not. I read couple of good reviews but it was on their website so I would really appreciate if somebody could tell me is there any other place in Dublin that they would recommend.

    Well, for example, Security Excellence does a combined course for €310 (https://www.securityexcellence.net/) but then you'll have to pay €190 for the combined license. Total cost €500.

    So you can save €1 with Kingstown :)

    We've sent guys to Kingstown before, Ed Boland is a very good trainer. My advice would be to decide if you actually need both licenses, as very few people choose to work both Doors and General (Static) security.

    By choosing one or the other license, you'll save a couple of hundred quid and you can go back at a later stage to do the other license should you need it.

    Most course providers will charge in and around the same amount, and most will deliver the same standard course.
