    So much want..

Apparently the 540 is the one to have, but of course I have experience with neither! :D;)

Seem to have missed you at the last cars and coffee, there was an ST there, but I was hesitant to ask the driver if he was Supergurrier.

    Things I don't want: A 4.4l V8 with less than 300hp.
    Nope.

    Nope.

Was there many 90's V8's of around the displacement with more than 300 or thereabouts? Barring possible American yokes we can't get?

Well in 97, the 1UZ was making 300hp and that was only 4L.
The 3UZ was/is 4.3 and while still making 300hp, it has 441NM on tap.

And not to much younger, the 2002 Nissan VK45DE IS 4.5 and makes 340hp and 451nm.

So yeah, BMW were knuckle dragging a bit.

I think they were more than capable of putting out more power seeing as their regular 3.0 six was putting out 231 at the time but to put it at over 300 wouldn't of made the M5 a bigger deal, presumably why it's putting out 280 ish.

Whether they could have is irrelevant though. They didn't so I would have no interest in the under performing Bavarian option.

So funny, he was bang on though, the other cnut was definitely trying it on and he was fast enough to avoid rear ending him. Good stuff the other guy got his miserable mug on camera. He was either someone on a crash for cash scam but he looks more like one of those self proclaimed road warriors, out to enforce the rules of the road. You could see his nuts shrink when the guy said "on camera", along with his presence. Bastards like that deserve a good wakeup call.

Is your first name Owen by any chance? :D
