I got a new one, parents that buy their kids an iphone.

A couple of months ago some clueless parent that my dad knows bought their 13/14 year old an iphone and didn't know how to register it with an apple ID and all the malarkey that comes with setting up an iphone, the kid hadn't a clue either so who gets landed with the job.

Me of course, don't like iPhones and I don't like their set-up process. The kid didn't even have an email address so that was more s**t to do, had to set up an email address and they ask for credit card info to get to the next phase so she can download apps even the free ones, but the parent had f**ked off home at this stage and left me with the phone. And I having to ring her, it's just a lot of annoying rigmorole. Set it up eventually.

Today I get a message from this young ones mother, saying the young one sold the phone and the new owner is having trouble with it and asking me to fix it. The young one only had the phone 5 or 6 months.

Bloody aggravation, if you're a parent and bought your barely pubescent child an iPhone, you're in need of a smack!

Have to pretend to be nice to her now when she gets here with the contraption.

My 15yo cousin got an iPhone 6. Set it up with a fake email for some reason which cannot be made into a real email. He can't get any apps and uses his browser for Facebook. I've made everyone in the family at email each countless times and they always forget their passwords and even the email. I know your pain, brother!

Pissed off man, wanted go to the gym but am waiting around the house all day. F**king nuisance. I hate being the somewhat tech savvy person in the area. I don't like Apple though, last time I set that phone up their website had a load of problems, password problems, I was entering the right one, I knew because I wrote it all down. Drove me bezerk, get your kid an average android. They can either like it or lump it. They are far easier to get the hang of and set up

Wouldn't have an iphone in a million years!

I **** you not, my auntie asks me down to her house just to sign into the kids ps4, move photos from phones to the laptop and other basic things just because I'm tech savvy. If I'm ever done for murder, this is the reason haha

People claiming they will take migrants in, The reality will not meet what they have in their heads.

These people are quite happy to have the direct provision centres for years. No one has volunteered to take anyone in. Same they would not be volunteering to take homeless people in.

FFS the owner of the phone can't make it in today with the phone and she can't come in till Monday, could have went to the gym! Place closes at 6:30 all that waiting around for nothing.

    Apocalyptically cross right now!

Yeah I have similar problem, my dad has problems with his phone sometimes, like simple stuff like not being able to access his browser because he left a heap of tabs open. Or my mam needing to write assignments and I type out her handwritten assignments and print them, and staple them. Oh and my Nanny not having a clue how to operate her remotes for her tv/saorview box, she knocks the channel from digital back to analog which is just a static picture and forgets how to change it back to HDMI 1 by pressing the source button. Must have shown her about 200 times at this point, she always rings me at the worst times too.....at least I get tea and a sandwich out of it haha

Sorry for trailing off....the thread is about "Warning Signs" Really...

I had seen one of those **** this morning. When I got up out of bed to get dressed a guy was crossing along the main road outside where I live and just simply spit his liquids out onto the road for no good reason in the middle of traffic.

If he is reading this now I will give him this message.

Nobody else wants your own germs passed onto them you ignorant gob****e. Please stop that sharade in public as you're doing no favours with your disgusting habit. Next time try and keep your spit in your mouth when you get home you idiot.

People who call a bunch of young dudes in their 20/30's wearing designer clothes and carrying iphones on a road-trip to Germania - 'refugees'.

So dumb.. they need to get out of the house more.

People who wore "Yes to Equality" badges. We get it, you're voting yes, well done.

I'd be more inclined to deem w-nkers the people who still have "Yes Equality 2015" superimposed on their Facebook profile picture.

Months after the referendum was passed.

And banging on about something that does not exist anymore. SSM... It's just marriage. The whole point was to make it no different.

People who get pleasure from hearing of others misfortune. People who gossip, and feel superior thinking they have something on someone by knowing something "juicy" about them.

talking about "the Krauts" to try to sound both knowledgeable about economics and laddish.

unsubtly "casually" mentioning your salary in a conversation in which it's not relevant in order to show off.

I honestly don't know why I am posting this.... But i'm in my early 30s and as the years go by I am becoming a wanker if not already. I don't mean to be and I don't want to be. It's just that as the years go by I get soured on people.

Slowly the mentality of "be a nice person" is being replaced with "be like the rest and be a prick" is taking hold. Anyone else feel the same?

It would appear he has been at it for a while, since the 90s in fact. Several organisations have web pages warning people that he is a fraud and should be avoided. One of his methods is to claim he works for various legitimate World War II study groups seeking donations of artifacts (medals/badges etc) for their museums. He sells what he gets.
I haven't read all the thread, so who is this about?
    Thanks!

People who use Spanish slurs to get around the boards list of polite terms, I've seen maricon (******) being used more than once this week. Not cool, not cool at all.

Just cut it out for Christ sake, you're not cool and I'm on to you.

People, mainly women it must be said, who insist the have various food intolerances because they once went to some shítehawk "nutritionist" they got a Groupon deal for. They are the types who will order a gluten free bagel "just in case" despite the fact that they are not coeliac.

Yep I know a girl who diagnosed herself as a coeliac online, never even consulted a doctor

I agree with much of what's been posted already. Especially the man bun, Conor McGregor haircut brigade. There is no doubt that you guys are top wanker spotters.

I would like to add people who refer to healthy eating as eating 'clean'. They are militant about their diet and look down their noses at all those who enjoy a pizza/big mac/whatever. Oh and the well travelled shower who like to go on and on about it at every opportunity. It really is wonderful that you have scaled the heights of Machu Pichu but it doesn't make you a better or more interesting person and the rest of us don't give a f***.

So are you using people 'who post right wing ****' on FB as your own personal scapegoat?

Can't tell if you're being ironic or if you're just in a 'low position' in society :O
