Three mobile sim into dongle

Hi, Would it be possible to use my Three sim card in my Three internet dongle. My phone contract has All you can eat data. while my dongle has a limit of 15GB a month. Any reason why I couldn't get All you can eat on a dongle with a mobile sim?

you could just use your phone and tether.

I get poor reception in the house so the plan is to put the dongle in a box outside and run a cable into the house.
