Is this the correct math for tax on importing beer from Italy. Say the bottle is 1 euro for 330ml. x 900 bottles = 297 litres = 2.97 hectolitres excise duty charged at 22.55 per hectolitre. 2.97 x 22.55 = 66.97 duty is this correct the beer is 5 % alc any information appreciated thanks

Excise is 22.55 per hectoliter per % alc.

So it's 22.55 cent per litre per %, or 5 times that for a litre of 5% beer.
