Generally speaking you would be looking at the region of €400-€500
A few of the lads here cover that area one will probably be on soon

Why do you think you need a powerflush?
    What are the symptoms?

What will happen with the water charges?! 'Mary' won't be happy dumping and filling all that water and her meter is flying around!

v-good question, we looked at water useage with our last flush only used a weir guage on mains supply so would be vairable during flush, but roughly 2500-3000 ltrs.

Have a Meter for next time.

"Mary" would have to sit down & think long & hard on what the actual cost implications would be & what the system implications would be if she doesn't powerflush.

So, based on Government announcements of an average €240 per family of 4 household using 30,000 litres per person per year, that's an average of €0.002 (1/5 of a cent) per litre. If I dump for a solid hour at 100 litres per minute, that's 6,000 litres dumped & I have emptied the average heating system 50 times.
That's a total cost of just €12.00. So if Mary wants to have a heating system that works she has to spend an additional €12.00 or indeed she keeps her crudded system & burns fuel til the cows come home with no heat benefit gained from the system.

Jesus Shane it was more light hearted post. You know people's perception... They'll think your dumping 50,000 litres.

Just tell her the water usage in included in the price. It's just another cost we're gonna have to absorb

I dont think poeple will seriously be considering the cost of water because most people know f all about the power flush process never mind the mount of water it uses

Some radiators are cool along the bottom. The system had being pitching for over a year and built up a lot of black water and crud.

I filled and flushed it a few times afterwards and added inhibitor but some of the rads seem to have been affected in that time.

Your issue with pitching would have to be resolved at the time of or before the flush otherwise it won't be long before you are back to square one. So, investigative work a must. Inhibitor into a cruddy system is just a waste of inhibitor.

Make sure you include courier costs & sterling costs also.
Also if you ever need to return for warranty work, it will also be at your cost. At least Charlie can meet you to sort.

Not sure. Would absolutely drain your battery no doubt. How much is it?

280 plus shipping through Apple Due an upgrade so would keep the 5s to use just with the camera! Looks like a good bit of kit

Ex vat it's a bit dearer than kamco and fernox. But those don't have built in thermal heaters which would be a godsend. 3 year warranty too. Could you find out the watt rating in the units motor?

I have sent the manufacture a link to here so they may post direct. Anyone know what the cost is for the Fernox & Kamco landed here.
