How do you judge which is your nearest foot?

Do you have odd length legs?

Wherever the shoe is on t be ground in relation to my foot, as long as both shoes are located in the same area.

I'm right handed and always start with my left foot for socks and shoes, never thought about it before. :o

Don't you people just put your feet into your shoes like everyone else? You pick your shoes up? What is the world coming to
I only wear my beloved size 13 steel-toecap boots, and it can take a bit of effort to get them on, so yeah, they have to be picked up.

I'm right-handed and usually put on the left one first, but I've no objection to doing the left one first if that's the boot I pick up first.
