I did and I thought it was good. Language was choice though
One of eldest friends joined up a couple of years ago and made it. After watching the programme tonight I wonder how he managed it, the lad could hardly tie his shoelaces without mammy helping him. He visited a few weeks ago and I have to say he has turned into a fine young man.

    Kovu
The third trimester- (6 months +) is when they grow most, hence restricting feed at this stage to keep the calf smaller. I think it's about 18-20 weeks when they're small cat sized, then about small dog sized by five months. They're just like tiny cattle then. We used to have one floating in a jar in our Biology classroom, I used to be fascinated by it and wanted to take it home.
I won't embed it but here is a 19-week calf foetus. It weighed 2kg.

    Thanks for the info kovu,
I'll take note of them facts for future reference.
I injected on the basis of your info,
And your hand measurements are a great gauge,
    So 100%,
Found a chart on internet last night when I was finished up,
    It's matching your info 100%

    And excuse the time replying.
    Went to reply immediately
Yesterday, but I'm only getting this botched together now,
Can't link your old post properly,
    Error codes everywhere
    Thanks again.

What's the best poison to kill roots of a tree have a sycamore tree tree growing up through a hedge and it's starting to crack the footpath

father killed a tree off by nailing copper nails into the stump before. He reckons it poisons them or something??

I usually just dig them out with the mini digger. end of problem lol.

Heard of something similar where you drill holes in the base/stump and then dab on roundup. It soaks into it at the holes I think.

Lads around here would paint on brunt oil onto stumps to kill the tree to stop it regrowing and help the timber rot away

Drill a few 7 inch holes and fill with either nitrogen or epsom salts. Keep it damp and covered. It should rot away fairly lively!

Glyphosphate mixed at 4 to 1 and put plenty on the cut stump. Should work well this time of year because the sap is going down again and it will draw it to the roots. Has worked very well for me on hazel, blackthorn and whitethorn. Drilling a few holes and filling them with it would be no harm either if it's a large stump. Treat it soon after cutting aswell or the sap will seal the stump.
