Texel for Maternal traits?

    Just bought an exceptional Texel Ram ( 2yrs old ) from someone selling their ewes & rams . He has great length & muscle and is 5 star on production and days to slaughter. If I keep the ewe lambs from such a muscular
    ram are they likely to have less milk than their dams?... For those of you who are into Texels his name is Derrylahan Umpire ( I hope! ( I did not get his cert yet ) and his sire is Haddo Ringleader

    Thanks for that... Did you do the search on his name?. I failed to get info on him. Can you also see who is present owner in the search. I phoned the breeder with the rams present ear tag number and it does not correspond to his records
