Ordered one for Liffey Valley within the same timeframe as you (Tues-Thurs).

Reservation confirmation number received but nothing else.

As it happens I got lucky with Argos Blanchardstown and managed to reserve one last Friday for pickup on Saturday.

Was this price only within a timeframe Tues-Thurs?
I'm not needing one now, but at that price? & wireless too, not bad!
& thanks to OP for inkjet.ie as cartridges are cheap there!

Is it with certain products on sale for a couple of days, as i see the low price & hi price on the tv ads, is that a new thing to advertise old price or something else?

The high & low price is on checkargos.com which isn't anything to do with the official argos website. It's a 3rd party website designed by a boards.ie member.

It's to help users know if the current price is the best price or to wait. :)

I set the printer up last night. The iPad app will be very handy for printing email reservations etc.

I realise these are different than the ones that were for sale for 27.99 a few weeks back, but why are they better?

The low price is the price it was at when people were allowed order it on Argos because it was out of stock. At that time the webpage stated that the price was valid up to 5th September. The price went up before most people had collected the ones they had ordered for collection. Argos have been giving the items to people at the lower price when they have prof of the reservation price. Technically they don't have to but they would most likely fall foul of advertising rules and standards if they did not because advertising it for €22 till 5th September but changing the price to €58 after thousands of people had placed orders could be seen as a bait and switch action.

An alternative(not Argos) to the one above is the Lexar 64GB JumpDrive V10 USB Flash Drive on mymemory.co.uk.

Use the code 'BANK10' to get 10% off. Shipping is £1.95. It works out at about €16.20 according to XE.

Even though they are not supposed to there is a lot of under twelves that play it so the toy makers are actually targeting a market that shouldn't exist as the games are intended for 18+.

Maybe there's a load of untapped 18+ year old men out there who love playing with dolls?

    Witnessmenow feedback suggestion :

Once the item is out of stock everywhere can it be omitted in the listings? not sure if this would be possible and apologies if already asked - thread is so very long I cant check it all. Great site.

actually those sets are Mega-Bloks, not just regular toys. they're basically lego sets. Great craic to make, I made this tank a while back.
